TEXTILE EXPERIMENTATION _ART, DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE

No. STUDENTS: Between 7-12 students.
AIMED AT: Creators of any discipline related to Textile, Art or Design; fashion designers, interior designers, set designers, architects, artisans and artists who want to develop their work through the textile material.
PRESENTATION
The experience of this course is aimed at generating a new vision around the textile, marking it as creative and sensitive material that opens up a new field for experimentation. We propose a reflection and dialogue between disciplines where the textile is positioned as fundamental link, investigating with different techniques and experimental processes.
PROGRAM
- 1. Interdisciplinary conversations. Textile in Art, Architecture and Design. Evolution, connections, techniques and applications.
- 2. Body, space and matter.
- 3. Fiber and textile processes.
- 4. Workshop:
-Experimental processes in textile creation.
-Application of these processes to a specific project.
-Project development –prototype.
OBJECTIVES
- to generate a conversation between different disciplines to find new encounters through textile experimentation.
- To increase our vision and promote transdisciplinarity to generate new designs.
- To develop the creative capacity from the material itself.
- To promote synergy between artists, designers and creatives of any branch that may be related.
- To learn and investigate techniques and creative processes of transformation, so that can enrich the student experience and give him the necessary to build relationships that will help strengthen his own language.
