STATEMENT //
My work explores the interconnections between body and space through fabric as an interface, examining textiles for their materiality and multiplicity; where the sensorial and processual, the individual and social, the biological and the technological cross paths with each other.
My artistic practice is developed through sculpture, installation and performative procedures using a morphogenetic methodology, highlighting the use of textile and soft materials.
The artistic research that I have been developing in recent years aims to rethink the place of materiality in contemporaneity through textiles, understanding them as complex interrelational operators. Therefore, my research explores the intersection between textiles and architecture and between art, textiles and digital technology.
